What is 5G?

Samsung has announced an important component for its 5G network, 5G can change the world with its fast downloading and browsing speed.

5G is the coming fifth-generation wireless broadband technology based on the IEEE 802.11ac standard. 5G can change the world with providing better speeds and coverage than the current 4G. 5G operates with a 5Ghz signal and is set to offer speeds of up to 1 Gb/s for tens of connections or tens of Mb/s for tens of thousands of connections.

While 5G isn’t expected until 2020, an increasing number of companies are investing now to prepare for the new mobile wireless standard. We explore 5G, how it works and its impact on the future wireless system.

5G will be significantly faster than 4G, providing you the higher downloading speed of 10,000 Mbps which can run more complex mobile internet apps. Probably 5G will be demanding some new fresh cell phones with such speed 5G can change the world.

The future of 5G

We know that 5G is yet to come, development is going n on it so people must be expecting a totally new look of speed in connectivity, browsing etc.

While networking industries are working on 5G it is so essential to have a proof for it. which probably won’t see deployment until 2019 or 2020 at the earliest. It will take that long as a completely new eco-system needs to form with the right architectures and agreed standards.

That means the opportunity for properly connected smart cities, remote surgery, driverless cars and the “internet of things”.

So, how best to understand this joined-up, superfast, all-encompassing 5G network? It seems that the term “harmonisation of the radio spectrum” is key. A quick refresher: Data is transmitted via radio waves. Radio waves are split up into bands – or ranges – of different frequencies.

Each band is reserved for a different type of communication – such as aeronautical and maritime navigation signals, television broadcasts and mobile data. The use of these frequency bands is regulated by the International Telecommunications Union (ITU).

5G will also run faster, a lot faster.

Prof Tafazolli now believes it is possible to run a wireless data connection at an astounding 800Gbps – that’s 100 times faster than current 5G testing. Which means that a high definition movie can be downloaded in less than a minute. A speed of 800Gbps would equate to downloading 33 HD films – in a single second. 5G’s capacity will also have to be vast.

By 2020 it is thought that 50 billion to 100 billion devices will be connected to the internet. So, connections that run on different frequency bands will be established to cope with demand. Raising the capacity of a network is a little like widening a road tunnel. If you add more lanes more cars can go through. And ordering makes it more efficient. Some lanes for long-distance, others lanes for local traffic.

The increase in numbers of connected devices like self-driving cars – know as the internet thugs.

Tech such as smart transport and remote surgery, where a human remotely operates a robot to carry out complicated operations, will rely on lower latencies too.

This will be critical, for example, if doctors are to command equipment to carry out surgery on patients located in different buildings.

5G Can Change the World with its Speed

To understand the total expenditures its too early to decide says various smartphone companies. Samsung claims to launch a temporary trial 5G network in time for 2018’s  winter Olympic games. Not to be outdone, Huawei is racing to implement a version for the 2018 World Cup in Moscow.

“That’s until 6G comes along in around 2040,” Prof Tafazolli remarks.

What is an Artificial Intelligence?

AI (Artificial Intelligence) is a machine that does not need a human to pass commands for the processes and solutions for the different problems. A.I does the processes without the human assistance and upgrades itself to a higher level by itself. For example; robots, computers, smart phones etc.

Is Artificial intelligence a threat to humans?

Humans have been in quarrels, wars and fights to get the power and the position they want to have. It may require to destroy nature, humans and every other possible thing that can be an obstacle and humans did not even slow down to do the inhuman acts. They even do not feel pity in ruining their own family being deeply in ego and possessive. However, when it comes to their extinction, they would not think even once to ruin anything which can be a chance of their extinction. This is a feeling given by nature.

Robots these days are not so complicated, cannot perform many tasks and do not know how to communicate fully but they are way better than old times. Now, they can move, learn some of human languages, pass some information, process the information without any human help. All these upgrades in them and still we way too far from the advanced phase of Artificial Intelligence. Humans are trying to give brain to Artificial Intelligence which can think for itself, has emotions, can perform multi tasks and upgrades itself with the surroundings. There are chances that humans are going to reach that point.

There is no any problem among the humans and Artificial Intelligence machines but when it comes to extinction and power and possession, they will both think to get every possible way to survive and to have the power and possession to them. While humans are natural creatures they believe that they have the most right to live on Earth. On the other hand, if Artificial Intelligence reaches in a position that they would be able to think and have emotions, they will try to survive and for survival they would do anything. The real problem starts from now. When this happens there is no solution but war.

Foundation;

The idea of Artificial Intelligence was proposed by JOHN MCCARTHY in 1955 in the dark mouth conference. The works were done and activities were performed before the idea of Artificial Intelligence but they were uncertain of the field they were in. JOHN MCCARTHY defined Artificial Intelligence as” Every aspect of learning or any other features of intelligence can in principle be so precisely described that a machine can be made to stimulate it. An attempt will be made to find how to make machines use language, form abstractions and concepts, solve kinds of problem now reserved for humans, and improve themselves.” And there were many other discussions made. They finally concluded with 7 aspects of Artificial Intelligence which are;

1. Stimulating higher functions of human brain.
2. Programming a computer to use human language.
3. Arranging hypothetical neurons in a manner so that they can perform concepts.
4. A way to determine and measure problem complexity.
5. Self-improvement.
6. Abstraction; defined as the quality of dealing with ideas rather than events.
7. Randomness and creativity.

After all these years we have achieved some levels of language, measure problem complexity and a very small part of improvement.
