In old days when we need to install something on our pc like software or Windows, MacOS etc we had to install it from CD or DVD but nowadays technology change every day and years. We don’t need CD or DVD to backup our data and install any software from it. In this century we just need to have 3 inches of USB Drive which it can back up more than 100GB data, When you need to install Windows, Linux, Ubuntu without any CD just make a bootable USB Drive and install it.

1. cmd – command prompt

Search cmd in Start Menu than right-click run as administrator

  • Now type in cmd diskpart enter
  • type list disk and enter now you can see the list of drives which are on your PC
  • Find which one is your USB Drive you can identify it by its storage than type select disk 2 and enter
  • type clean and enter this will delete all of your data from USB Drive
  • Now type create part pri and enter
  • Type select part 1 & enter
  • Type format fs=ntfs quick than press enter
  • After that type format fs=fat32 quick and press enter this command will change the format of USB Drive
  • Type active and enter
  • Now type exit and enter your USB is bootable now.

UNetbootin is a free program for both Windows, Linux and MacOS X that allows the user to create bootable Live USB drives for Ubuntu, Fedora, and other Linux distributions instead of burning a CD. It runs on both Windows and Linux. Either use UNetbootin to download one of the many Linux distributions it supports or provide the location of your own Linux IOS file. Download UNetbootin

NOTE: The resulting USB drive is only bootable on PCs, not Macs. In addition, UNnetbootin isn’t as reliable as it once was. We recommend one of the other tools mentioned here like Rufus.
